We advise all clients to follow
these aftercare instructions to ensure a healthy, well healed tattoo.
Remove cover after 1-2 hours and wash with warm water and a mild
unscented soap. Then pat dry with a clean towel. Apply a thin layer of
Bepanthen cream and do not recover. Repeat this 3-4 times
daily for the first 2 weeks. Always wash your tattoo before reapplying cream.
Leave to air dry. If you cannot see your tattoo, you’ve applied too much.
Always ensure your tattoo is the last thing you wash and first to dry when
showering. Wear loose clothing while you are healing, avoid
any rubbing of material which could result in early removal of scabs.
A small scab may form over your tattoo and it may feel itchy.
This is completely normal and all part of the healing process.
Do not pick or scratch at your tattoo,
leave all scabs to come away
Avoid baths and swimming until your tattoo is fully healed.
Quick showers are fine but make sure you do not over soak your tattoo.
Avoid sun exposure/sun beds for at least 4 weeks. After this period, it
is strongly recommended that you cover your tattoo with a high factor sun
block to minimize fading.
